  • Here are a handful of photos from our afternoon's jaunt down into the hills of Newton County, our favorite place to escape to on a Sunday afternoon. The thermometer was hovering right around freezing, just enough to rime the weeds in white .... as always, we found "sermons in stones" out in God's creation. Wish you could've come with us!

  • You take photos as well as you write:)  Beautiful!  love, Gerrie

  • You always make me wish I was along for your Sunday trek.

  • Wouldn't that have been fun...to have been with you on your jaunt? Maybe someday we'll get to do that! The frosty pix are great! I especially like that first one...isn't it Queen's Anne's lace?

  • Great pictures!

  • Celia, I really like the last photo.  With the white and black mixed, it is very dramatic.  I also like your current profile pic....but I am ready for you to change your background page...I keep thinking I'm seeing dots all the time!

  • Chilly photos!  lovely to look at, so long as we keep warmly wrapped.  The very last of our snow was in a crest or ridge under the window yesterday where a roof's worth fell into the garden - whooosh!  Everywhere else it has vanished.
