oh my, I hope you had a powerful zoom to capture that guy! =)
How cool is that!!! You are journalistically amazing!!!
Great shot! What an exciting day! It's just a stinkin' shame that the bear had to REALLY be shot...
YOU took that picture??? Were you in danger? Don't know if I'd stick around for a shot...well, a photograph!
Wow, some people have all the adventures:):) Poor bear, he was probably lost and hungry and feeling grouchy and even worse after being shot twice... I understand why they had to put him down, but poor thing, too bad it worked out that way. Good photography! Blesings for your weekend, Gerrie
Poor bear, but wow!!!
Cool, Celia! What an adventure. But I really have my doubts that they had to kill the bear. We have bear sightings in PA all the time; there was one in the paper just this morning. It frustrates me that your nearby government people wouldn't get involved to capture a bear loose in a town, but to kill it seems drastic and unnecessary. Couldn't someone just have kept track of the bear while the right strength tranquilizer was found? What a shame.
Two-toned bear, what an interesting color scheme. Sorry I've been away, my new job is demanding
