Today, I'm grateful for so many things.....
being able to play at the park with my sister Cissy
and our nephew Ben on his fifth birthday....
that my Mama was able to be moved out of ICU into a regular room....
that she was able to eat a few bites of soft food....
and that she was able to whisper a few little faint words to me that I could understand.

What a precious, precious picture of Ben. Such a sweet little smile on his face -- such innocence. Makes me want to hug him tight, and he isn't even mine.
Evidently your mama has a powerful will to live. It makes me want to sing the hymn: God Will Take Care Of You -- God will take care of you.
And the sun is shining...all is well! A big happy birthday to Ben!
