  • Just got our power back at 5 p.m. after losing it Tuesday morning during our ice storm...thank you, Lord, for all the crews from out of state who have been  here helping us. The devastation from the ice is unbelievable...so many beautiful trees broken. I will post photos soon. We're so thankful to have power - we were tired of being cold and dark all week!

  • That is a long time without electric.

  • Welcome back!  I've had you guys down that way in my thoughts.

  • You all got it alot worse than we did.  I still can't get my Jeep  down the road.  The roads havent' been plowed yet outside of Willow Springs.  My Jeep doesn't have 4 wheel drive.  Jim's does.  I think I am going to get a different vehicle.Soon as I can that Jeep is gone.  I think I will go with a Liberty.  They are great in the bad weather and muddy country roads.  Glad you all have power again.  Dawn

  • Amazing! I'm glad y'all are ok. I hear that Kentucky is completely devastated.

  • I came over from Ozark Farm Girl's site....you have a beautiful site.  And what a beautiful home.  That's the kind of house I would love to live in.  I'm glad that there wasn't any more damage from the ice, and that you have your power back.  So far we've missed the ice storms here in NorthCentral Louisiana.  I'm ready for Spring!
